Matt Hanson joins the Maxi-Lift team

Matt Hanson was recently hired as the Director of Business Development. Matt graduated with a double major in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science from Texas A&M University. Upon graduating from Texas A&M, he began a 13 year career with Cargill, where he worked as both a Business Manager and Business Development Manager in Mentone, IN; Sterling, CO; Franklinton, LA and Giddings, TX. He was subsequently employed by Dayton Lease & Pipeline Services as their General Manager for 5 years. In May of 2017, he was hired by Maxi-Lift as the Director of Business Development to further build the Maxi-Lift brand and develop an outside sales team.

Grain, soybean futures turn higher

Grain and soybean futures rose for this first time recently as traders weighed the impact of recent weather forecasts on this year's crops. Through much of July traders were gearing up for reduced corn and soybean yields, as dry and hot weather prompted what many considered the most difficult start to a growing season in years.
