Grain elevator storage in Western Canada is expanding

New elevator capacity being built across Western Canada will bring total commercial storage space in the prairies back near levels not seen in over 15 years. The added capacity will make for a more competitive marketplace, but isn't necessarily needed from a purely logistical standpoint, according to an industry official.
