Dura-Buket agricultural buckets come in high-density polyethylene, although it’s available as a special order in nylon, urethane, and FDA-certified nylon if that suits your needs.
- Poly: This high-density polyethylene elevator bucket handles grain and food products.
- Nylon: Best for handling high-impact, hot, and abrasive-dense products. It can withstand temperatures from -60°F to +300°F.
- Urethane: Ideal for handling heavy, abrasive, and sticky materials with sharp cutting materials.
- FDA Nylon: Best for handling high-heat food-grade products. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -60°F to +300°F.
Poly
- Application Grains & Food Products Temperature
- Range -60°F to +180°F (210°F intermittent)
- FDA Approved Material Yes
Economical, high density polyethylene. FDA approved material for handling food grade products.
Nylon
- Application Hot, high impact, abrasive dense products
- Range -60°F to +300°F (350°F intermittent)
- FDA Approved Material No
Best for high heat applications, with tough impact and abrasion needs.
Urethane
- Application Heavy, abrasion, sticky materials
- Range -60°F to +180°F (210°F intermittent)
- FDA Approved Material Yes
Most flexible and abrasion resistant. Resists product sticking and sharp cutting particles.
FDA Nylon
- Application Hot, high impact, abrasive food grade products
- Range -60°F to +300°F
- FDA Approved Material Yes
Best for high heat food grade applications, with tough impact and abrasion needs.
Vent Your Buckets
The DuraPlas venting system features a series of vent holes at the bottom of each bucket, releasing air that would otherwise become trapped underneath the material. Trapped air can make lifting and releasing things like light and fluffy product more difficult.
